The Socialist politician stunned her British colleague John Procter when she suggested concluding the Brexit negotiations in a no deal could result in Britain not leaving the European Union. Ms João Rodrigues insisted it was her belief the UK could not have Brexit unless the British Government secured a withdrawal agreement with Brussels after resolving the Irish border issue currently deadlocking the talks. Speaking to Raw Politics, the Portuguese MEP said: “I don’t believe there is Brexit but there is no deal.
