「バーチャル・アイドル」として若者に人気の音楽合成ソフト「初音ミク」の中国語版が完成し、今後、中国市場で発売されると発表された。
初音ミクは、日本の会社が作った音楽合成ソフトのキャラクターで、使用者が曲や歌詞のデータを入力し、自由に歌を歌わせることができる。音楽合成ソフトという枠組みを超え、「バーチャル・アイドル」として若者を中心に人気があり、多くのファンがいる中国でも、これまで２回にわたってコンサートが行われている。
２４日、ソフトを作った会社が、上海市内で会見を開き、初音ミクに中国語で歌を歌わせることができる新しいソフトを発売すると発表した。
