CVM Live obtained video footage from inside a Spanish Town Prison which appears to confirm a scabies outbreak. The cell conditions have been described as inhumane, showing food and garbage on the floor with some hosting up to 15 men. Several of the detained are allegedly sick and vomiting blood.
Relatives of those detained at the Tamarind Farm Correctional Centre were turned away when they tried to visit during scheduled hours. CVM Live understands that officers are wearing gloves and masks and are allegedly setting fire to items used by detainees.
