On December 25th 2015, a 24-year-old woman who worked for advertising giant Dentsu Inc committed suicide. This week the death was ruled as “Death by Overwork” after it was found she logged around 105 hours of monthly overtime.
In this episode Timothy Langley, Michael Cucek and Dr. Nancy Snow welcome Dr. Toshio Nagahisa to Tokyo on Fire to talk about the issue of productivity and overworking in Japan.
