奈良県山添村の山中で小型飛行機が墜落する事故があった。操縦席付近から計２人が確認されているが、さきほど、消防ではその２人が死亡したことを確認した。墜落現場のふもとから中継。
墜落現場はこちらから約１キロ山中に入ったところ。墜落から７時間近くたった今も機体からはまだ炎が上がっているという。
１４日正午過ぎ、「小型飛行機らしきものが落ちて黒煙が上がっている」と消防に通報があり、現場には墜落したとみられる飛行機の機体の一部が散乱、炎上している。
消防によると、操縦席付近で計２人が確認されていたが、さきほど２人の死亡が確認された。性別、年齢など詳しいことはわかっていない。
国土交通省によると、飛行機は大阪の八尾空港を午前１１時５７分に離陸。福島空港を目指していた。墜落したとみられる飛行機は米国籍で、所有者は確認されていない。事故当時、周辺の風は弱く、雲なども多くはなかったという。
