岐阜県瑞浪市の中央自動車道で土砂崩れが起き、６人が重軽傷を負った事故で、土砂が道路に複数回押し寄せていたことがＮＮＮが入手したドライブレコーダーの映像や、運転手の証言などから分かった。
１８日午後９時半ごろに中央道上り線を走っていたトラックのドライブレコーダーの映像には、前を走る車が突然跳ね上がる様子が映っている。トラックも路面に広がる土砂に乗り上げ、埋もれるような形で停車した。
警察などによると、道路わきから崩れた土砂が高さ１．５メートル、幅およそ６０メートルにわたって道路上に広がり、走行中の車７台が巻き込まれ、６人が重軽傷を負った。
運転していた男性「本来何もないであろうと思って走っていたところで、不意打ちですよね。硬いものにぶつかった（感触がした）」
ドライブレコーダーの映像では、土砂に突っ込んで停止した数十秒後に、さらに土砂が押し寄せトラックが持ち上げられた様子も確認できる。
一方、現場近くの住宅にも土砂が押し寄せ、住民が撤去作業に追われた。
住民「びっくり。水につかったことはあるけど、こんな川のように流れることはなかった」
ネクスコ中日本によると、現地の調査では中央道に流れ込んだ土砂は、およそ７００立方メートルに上り、粘土質の土などが大量に含まれていた。
こうした土の撤去やガードレールの復旧に時間がかかっていて、通行止め解除の見通しは立っていないという。
