A free trade agreement between Pakistan and China has been implemented which will strengthen the Pakistani economy and it will increase Pakistan’s exports to China.
With the implementation of the Free Trade Agreement, 90% of China’s imported goods will be able to get duty-free while Pakistan’s 313 products will have duty-free access to Chinese markets.
Free trade agreement between Pakistan and China was reached during Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to China in April last year. Abdul Razzaq Daud, Advisor for Trade, said that the Free Trade Agreement has opened trade doors for Pakistan and Pakistan’s exports to China are expected to increase to $ 6 billion in 5 years.
